The grandfather of Ratchet Ringtail, Roompa was once known as a gifted wizard. However, during the Magician’s Match one fateful Jamboreen, he experienced a moment of great shame. As a result, he lost the privilege of practicing Een magic. He lived out his remaining days in the outskirts of Een, in the woods near Ander’s Down.

Years later, Ratchet Ringtail moved into his grandfather’s stump and began exploring the notes left behind by Roompa. Perhaps Ratchet’s most valuable find were the blueprints and designs for an airship. With the help of his apprentice, Honest Oki, Ratchet eventually built the airship and called it the Big Bang.
