Toadstool.

Glum Puddle

In the very center of the Land of Een stands the small settlement of Glum Puddle. To the north of Glum Puddle stands a forest of toadstools and to the south is Boot Pond.

No one knows for sure how Glum Puddle earned its name, though one story tells of a time before the raising of the magic curtain when a giant trod across the land, only to trip in Boot Pond. The giant is then said to have cursed the pond as a “glum puddle.”
