Kiro Kandlestar

The older brother of Kendra Kandlestar was named Kiro. He was six years old when Kendra was born, but he did not know her very long, for Kiro disappeared, along with his mother and father, when Kendra was still a baby.

Kiro was an inquisitive boy, interested in exploration and adventure. His favorite possession was a compass given to him on his fifth birthday by Uncle Griffinskitch. He had this compass with him when he disappeared. Many years later, Kendra found the compass while on her quest to find the Door to Unger. She cherished the compass, feeling that it gave her a connection with her long-lost brother.
