To write a short poem based on your favorite character from The Chronicles of Kendra Kandlestar.

You’ll need:
~ Paper and a pencil.

Instructions:
Choose your favorite character and then write a short poem. A great format to follow is that of a Cinquapin poem. The rules of a Cinquapin poem are:

First line: one word, giving character’s name
Second line: two words, describing character
Third line: three words, expressing action
Fourth line: four words, expressing feeling
Fifth line: a synonym for the character

Here’s an example:

Griffinskitch
Old, grumpy
Always mutters "Humph!"
Yearns to wield magic
Wizard
